Sometimes, players hear about news on what is happening with them the same way you and I do. Sometimes they learn what is happening over the internet. Darren Sproles is one of those players that seems to have learned about his status over the internet today. Check out his timeline right now:
WOW! "@ESPNNFL: THIS JUST IN: Saints now plan to trade RB Darren Sproles due to heavy interest. He will not be released.

There was talk about the Saints releasing Sproles last week, but now it seems that the team is going to hold onto him and trade him since there is a lot of interest for his services around the league. It seems that Sproles just learned about that news.
Just 4 days ago, Sproles was thanking the city of New Orleans for their support and basically saying his goodbyes to the city:
Thank you New Orleans for your support over the past 3 years! I will always be forever grateful. #WhoDat

He still will be saying goodbye, but it seems that he will not be making the choice on where he will end up. The Saints will be choosing his new destination based on what other teams offer them on the trade market.
