Miles Austin Getting Interest From New York Jets

Miles Austin was just released from the Dallas Cowboys because his salary was just too much for the production that he was giving on the field. Was he even really on the field? Austin has so much talent, but he never is able to display it because he keeps pulling his hamstrings.

Austin is getting some interest from the New York Jets in free agency, per Brian Bassett. The Jets are in a big need of some skill players. They have Geno Smith throwing the football to a bunch of random guys on the field. This offseason will be about adding some skill players for him to throw the football to.

Austin is one of the players that can help the team out, but the Jets would have to worry about his injury issues. They always seem to crop up and they would need to be aware of the possibility of him spending a ton of time in the trainers room or on the sideline.

The Jets want to add playmakers, but what kind of help will it be if he is on the sideline the whole time?

No help at all…the last thing the Jets need is another half lame receiver!

He’s got hamstring injuries, not knee, foot, or ankle problems. If he can pass a physical, he’s worth a 1 year deal.
