Rumors have the Oakland Raiders are dangling out their receiver Denarius Moore for a 4th round draft pick. They are asking for a bit much though. The draft is filled with receivers this coming season and Moore might not be worth that value, despite the potential that he has shown.

Why would the Raiders want to shop one of their best receivers? First, they signed James Jones to a deal already and he will be starting on one side for Matt Schaub and the offense. The Raiders also have a couple of other young receivers in Rod Streater and Andre Holmes that they have some trust in. The Raiders are also a team that has been mentioned in connection with Desean Jackson. The Raiders also could use their first round draft pick to select a receiver like Sammy Watkins. There are a lot of different directions the Raiders can go and Moore is not necessarily needed on the roster. The Raiders can use him to obtain a pick in the coming draft.

Not sure who would want to pay the price tag, but the Panthers still have a bunch of scrubs at wide receiver and might want to look at bringing Moore in. The Jets also are looking to fill the spot next to Eric Decker. There could be some destinations for the young receiver.
