Chris Johnson was cut loose from the Tennessee Titans last week and there were rumors about him going to New York in order to visit with the Jets and the Giants, but according to Johnson he is not receiving any love on the market. No teams have asked him for a workout yet:

I understand that the market for running backs is dead this offseason, but a back like Chris Johnson still should be able to find a job with some team. Johnson still has that explosive ability. He still has that breakaway speed. Teams might not trust him to be the main back in the backfield, but he still can help out an offense. Teams also might be afraid of his money demands.

Some team will give Johnson a chance to take some carries. Some team will give him that workout. Johnson can’t expect to make a ton of dough this offseason though. He needs to find a situation in which he can get opportunities to run. He needs to prove himself again and will likely sign a short-term deal.
