Jadeveon Clowney will no longer be doing individual workouts for teams this offseason after seeing Clemson T Brandon Thomas go down with a knee injury, per SportsCenter. Clowney is not going to risk his future. He is not going to risk going down with the same type of injury and sliding way down in the draft. Clowney is expected to be taken at the top of the draft with many analysts expecting the Houston Texans to take him with the first selection in the draft.

Scouts should have already done their work on Clowney and they should know what they are getting. Not many teams are even going to have an opportunity to take the phenom. If the Texans have already told Clowney that they would like to pick up the youngster, then there is no reason for him to bust his tail for some of the other teams in the league.

He has done his work and he will just wait till Draft Day to see where it took him. Will the recent injury from Brandon Thomas scare any other players from doing individual workouts with teams? Teams have seen the film and have watched these guys work out at the Combine and at their Pro Days, why would they need another workout anyway? Some prospects might be a little more skeptical about getting on the field for these individual workouts after the Thomas injury.
