Newly acquired Detroit Lions WR Golden Tate is excited to be working with his new team and on his new offense. He feels that the Lions offense will be a perfect fit for him, a better fit for him than Seattle was:
"“I think this offense is going to fit better for me as a player than Seattle’s did,” Tate told detroitlions.com."
The Lions offense would be a better fit for him or for any receiver that want to catch passes. The Seattle Seahawks are going to pound the football with Marshawn Lynch and they will also move the football around to all their receivers. Golden Tate did well with the Seahawks, but he can flourish in his new offense.
The Lions are going to let it fly. They are going to fling the football around and Tate will not have to worry about being the main guy on offense. He can just sit back and scrape through the leftovers of Calvin Johnson and still pick up huge numbers. The offense is perfect for him.
