The Seattle Seahawks pulled off a trade to pick up Terrelle Pryor from the Oakland Raiders this week and the team could plan to use him in a “slash” type role on the roster. He is listed as a quarterback, but the team could use him in a different capacity on the offense.

"“We’re always trying to improve competition at every position and we saw this as an opportunity to do that,” Schneider said. “Rare athlete, size and speed. We’re just excited about his upside and the type of athlete that he is. We knew that if he was released [by Oakland] there was no way we were going to have an opportunity to claim him.” – Sports Illustrated"

Pryor is a playmaker on offense and the team will find a way to get him opportunities to make plays. If he works out in a ‘slash’ role on the roster, then he can use his athleticism and speed in a different capacity on offense

“Rare athlete, size and speed.

He showed that he can make good things happen with his legs while with the Raiders and he could see more opportunities in that type of role.

The Seahawks are going to get creative in the way that they use him on the field. The team just wants football players and athletes and they will find the best use for them. Pryor just needs to show different ways that he can be a threat on offense.
