Ian Rapoport just reported that Auburn RB Tre Mason will need wrist surgery after the NFL Draft and will return by the preseason, but Mason is disputing that report via twitter:

Mason says that he doesn’t need any surgery on his body and he has said it many times before. Mason is having his issues with the media reporting false information.

Antoher NFL Draft prospect, Bradley Roby was having his issues with the media today as well. Roby is disputing the reports that the media has put out there on a DUI.

If I have to choose a source between Ian Rapoport or Tre Mason on the status of Mason’s health, I am guessing that Mason would have more knowledge on the situation. Mason is expected to be one of the first running backs taken off of the board and is projected to be taken in the 2nd round of the draft.

I am sure that he will have to answer more questions about his wrist in the near future.
