  • Young will participate in the Browns’ voluntary minicamp on a tryout basis this week, according to Mark Berman of FOX 26 in Houston. He has had a cup of coffee with the Green Bay Packers and Buffalo Bills in the last couple of seasons, but he hasn’t had many opportunities to get on the field. He has been a preseason quarterback competing for a job, but hasn’t landed a backup role and he finds himself working to grab a job again.

The Browns only have Alex Tanney and Brian Hoyer on their roster at quarterabck at the moment, but they are expected to bring in some talent during the 2014 NFL Draft. There are a lot of possibilities during that draft and the Browns are right in the thick of things.
