The Jacksonville Jaguars brought in Texas A&M Jake Matthews in for a visit this week and he could be a prospect the team considers with the 3rd overall draft selection, per ESPN. Matthews is the best tackle prospect in the draft and he would give the team a solid pair of tackles going into the season. Last season, they used their top selection to take T Luke Joeckel, Matthews former teammate at A&M. That would be two tackles in the top 3 selections in the past 2 drafts.

The Jaguars are not in desperate need for a tackle in the draft, but you can never have too much depth up front. Building up an offensive line will just make everyone else on the offense better.

The Jaguars could go a number of directions with that top draft choice. They have needs at quarterback, wide receiver and pass rusher, but using the selection for the best tackle in the draft can never be considered a bad move. They would just have to come back in the next few rounds to select those positions.
