Missouri DE Kony Ealy is expected to be taken in the first couple of rounds in the draft and can give a team some help pass rushing the quarterbacks in the league. There are some teams that are thinking about moving him inside on the defensive line and giving him some time at defensive tackle. They want him to gain about 15 more pounds and make him a force in the middle, per Ian Rapoport.

Some teams that could consider moving him inside would be the New York Giants, St. Louis Rams, Dallas Cowboys or Chicago Bears.

It would be interesting to see how he would work at the defensive tackle position. How would his speed rush be affected in the middle of the defense. He wouldn’t get to work his way around the edge and would have to rely on his other pass rushing moves in order to beat linemen.

We will see what team selects Ealy and we can make our projections from there.
