    I wish.. WR Watkins at #5 pick….

    • Scott Allen

Might happen if the right QB is already gone at 5.

  • Jake

Dan Zinski does not know the Vikings. His writing and insight are terrible and most of us wish he would stop writing for our team’s site.

    • Scott Allen

Let me first just say thanks for taking the time to reply Jake. We truly appreciate it. However keep this in mind – it is just an opinion. It may not agree with what your take is. Dan isn’t the only one that has mocked Bortles to the Vikings. It’s not a bad idea. Yes they have other needs but again, just his opinion. So now that I’ve put it out there, who would you take at #8 for the Vikes?

      • Jake

I’m not necessarily disagreeing with his choice, I’m disagreeing with your choice to include his opinion. He is a terrible writer and most of us who frequent the site seem to agree that he needs to go. As for my choice who they should take at #8, that would depend on who’s available. Ideally though I think they should trade back preferably into the late teens or early 20′s and look for someone like Gilbert, Fuller or Dennard. The defense needs the most help in the secondary. The linebacker corp is stronger than most give them credit. Cole was pretty impressive in his couple starts before injury. If Mauti can come back healthy then you’re looking at Hodges, Mauti (both potentially very good), along with Cole and Greenway (who was still very strong last year). The D-line has also improved with the addition of Wooten and Linval Joseph to go along with Floyd, Griffen and Robison. So if it were me I would trade back, draft a top flight CB then use my extra picks to trade back into the late 1st round and take a QB. As far as QB’s go I would aim for Bridgewater since he seems to be very close to pro ready and is very intelligent (gonna need someone with smarts for Turner’s system) but if he was gone I would not be afraid to take Garapollo with a late 1st round pick since he likely wont be around at #40. Garapollo seems to be a very solid prospect, good size, good arm, good head and played in a good system.

        • Scott Allen

Garapollo is a guy I know many are high on. I can see several teams looking to trade down.

      • Jake

And if you want to know who they should trade with I would say they should target the Cardinals at #20. The Cards needs a QB and there should be someone available (like Bortles) for them at #8. This would be a pretty good trade partner I would think. I would say the Cards would give them the #20, 2nd rounder and a fourth or fifth rounder or possibly a third next year.

        • Scott Allen

Being the Cardinals guy for this network, I can say I would not be disappointed with that

          • Jake

Right? Doesn’t this seem like a very viable option for both teams? I may be onto something here.

  • Bryce Stanton

Bills won’t pass up on Greg Robinson

  • DiscountPCRepair SATX

Pryor over Clinton-Dix and Justin Gilbert … laughable.

  • Rick Talley

Perfect draft for Rams….IMMEDIATE IMPACT!!! Think it could happen?

  • Jacob

    Woah….Clinton-Dix falling to the Chiefs?

  • Ron Fulton

I hope you are wrong on the Bengals choice, it should be Ford or Shazier.

    • Tim Kassen

That may be what you are wishing for, but both are off the board by the time they pick according to this mock. They have to take somebody else.

  • Willy

Wow, good luck but I think this is so far off it isnt funny.

  • Nick Lee

Carr going #4 to Cleveland? Interesting.
