The Cleveland Browns decided to draft one of the biggest attractions in the NFL Draft when they took Johnny Manziel and they are going to try to slow down that media attraction by barring the national media from their rookie minicamp this weekend. They are trying to keep a “tight grip” on Johnny Manziel.

Manziel’s popularity and attraction is something that comes with the selection. That is something that the Cleveland Browns organization had to be prepared for when they took him. Manziel has to live up to the expectations and it will keep the people coming.

If Manziel continues to be a star, then he is doing something right on the field. This all will go away if he stinks it up on the field.

During the first few weeks of his career with the Browns, the team is going to keep a tight grip of things and do the best they can to keep him under wraps. He still has a lot of work to do in order to be one of the superstars in this league. The national media will be hungry and waiting for their opportunity to talk it up with him and see how he performs on the field.

The microscope is zooming in further now.
