The New York Jets added another quarterback to their mix with the selection of Tajh Boyd onto the roster in the NFL Draft. Boyd had some question marks going into the draft and many experts were wondering if he would get drafted by a team. The Jets took the chance and first reports out of rookie camp are not looking too great.

He has a bit of a hitch in his throwing motion and the ball is flying all over the place. His accuracy is somethign that he will need to work on during camp. He isn’t expected to contribute to the roster immediately, so he has time to make those adjustments, but it is something to watch for when he gets into the games during the preseason.

Boyd benefited from some top talent receivers in Clemson. People will wonder how he will do with the talent in the NFL. Will he be able to perform against some of the talent in the NFL and with the receivers that he will be given. Only time will tell and Jets fans won’t have to worry about seeing him on the field any time soon.
