The Dallas Cowboys have started some preliminary talks with Dez Bryant‘s agent in order to get the star wide receiver locked in to a multi-year contract. Bryant is one of the most explosive players in the league and is one of the top wide receivers in the game and will likely want to get compensated in that way.

"“Yeah, I deserve it,” Bryant said. “I deserve it. I feel like I do. I put the work in, but I let that kind of stuff take care of itself. It is what it is. I let my agent talk about it and give me some feedback.”"

The Cowboys are not going to let him walk away. He is a huge part of the offense and is needed as a weapon for Tony Romo. The team needs to keep the weapons that they have on the team and invest well in those players. Bryant is one of the players that the team needs to put money in. There are not many players that are like him in the league. If they let him see free agency, then they likely will get into a bidding war with some team for his services.
