Lamar Miller is taking a big bulk of the first team reps for the Miami Dolphins, according to ESPN. The team brought in Knowshon Moreno in the offseason, but he came into OTAs a little thinker than the team would have liked and is working his way back in shape. While he is working on getting in the right shape for camp, Miller has been taking the snaps with the first team and looks to be the top running back going into training camp.

Miller is entering his third season in the league and should be getting more and more comfortable facing NFL defenses. This could be his chance to break out and make a name for himself around the league. He has shown the potential to be a really good back, but he has not stepped up to the plate yet to take that role.

This could be his best chance yet. The team may have invested in Knowshon Moreno in the offseason, but Miller is not going to let him take the job easily. He is going to give a push and is working to take a big bulk of the snaps during the season. Moreno has already proven that he can produce in the league. Miller will have to show that potential during training camp and continue to show that growth during the regular season. It should become a nice battle to watch throughout the season.
