Houston Texans WR Andre Johnson will not be attending mimicamp with the rest of the team according to Bryan T. Smith of Ultimate Texans. He is unhappy with his current situation on the roster and he wants out. He was hoping that the team would find help on the offense during the draft and during the offseason, but instead the team added more depth on the defense by drafting Jadeveon Clowney and are left with Ryan Fitzpatrick as their veteran quarterback on the roster. Will Ryan Fitzpatrick be any better than Matt Schaub?

Johnson is the highest paid player on the Texans roster. which will make him a tough player to trade with that salary. He still is a very productive player on the field and can help some team make strides toward the playoffs and the Super Bowl. There could be some team out there with the salary space to make the move.

Training camp will be starting up in July and Johnson still has not made his decision on if he will make his attendance for that.

"“We’ll evaluate it in a month or so and see what’s going on,” Andre Melton (Johnson’s adviser) said."

They are going to take the wait and see approach. They will be waiting to see if the team finds him a new roster.
