Philadelphia Eagles RT Lane Johnson will be suspended for the first 4 games of the season for PEDs, according to Paul Domowitch of the Daily News.. He was the 4th overall pick in the 2013 NFL draft and is a big part of the fast moving offense for the Eagles. He will be missed from the lineup.

Dennis Kelly is the next man up on the depth chart on the roster. He will get the opportunity in training camp to take the starting job at right tackle for the first few games of the regular season. Johnson likely will take back the starting role when he returns to the field in game 5.

Johnson will sit out games against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Indianapolis Colts, Washington Redskins and San Francisco 49ers.

Head coach Chip Kelly will be prepped for the suspension and should have his team ready to move up and down the field on offense to start out the year. It will hurt to be missing their starting right tackle, but Kelly will think of creative ways to make the offense work.
