Arizona Cardinals S Tyrann Mathieu is working his way back on the field after tearing his ACL last season. The football world is on hiatus at the moment, but there is no resting for Mathieu.

  • He wants to join his team for training camp and wants to be on the field for the start of the season. He is doing all the work that he can in order to get back with the rest of his team.

    He provided a little update to the Cardinals official website on his status. He said that he was running at 60, 70 percent and he has just added some cutting in his workouts. He is close to getting cleared for contact.

    Mathieu is making big strides. he wants to at least be available for individual workouts during training camp. We will have to see where he is at next month.

    The team would love to have him roaming around in the secondary again. He made an impact in his rookie season and the team will be expecting to see him making things happen in his 2nd year.
