Cordarrelle Patterson proved to be a big time playmaker on the field in his rookie season. He was a threat any time he touched the football. He could catch passes for touchdowns, run the ball for a touchdown or even return the ball for a touchdown. He was a dynamic.

He believes that he is going to be one of the top-5 playmakers in the NFL:

"“I’m going to be a top-5 playmaker,” Patterson said. “I’m a playmaker, I like to make plays. Like I tell them, just get the ball in my hands I feel like I’m special with it. I just like to do special things with the ball.” – Pro Football Talk"

Patterson will get the opportunities to make plays this year. He has new offensive coordinator, Norv Turner, to call the shots. Norv is known as an offensive genius and should help Patterson grow offensively.

We just need to know who will be throwing him the football. Patterson just needs a quick hitch to break off a long play. Any of the quarterbacks on the roster should be able to make that throw.

What other players in the league can compete with his type of playmaking ability? Jamaal Charles? LeSean McCoy? Darren Sproles? Randall Cobb? That might be the top-5 playmakers right there.
