The Carolina Panthers are expecting a lot out of the combination of Kelvin Benjamin and Cam Newton this season. With Benjamin on the sideline with an injury, the team has Brenton Bersin and Jericho Cotchery running with the first team. Jason Avant is getting reps with the first team as well.
With Benjamin out Brenton Bersin working with Cotchery and Avant as first group of recievers. #Panthers

That group of receivers is not going to scare off many defenses in the league, especially with Cam having trouble connecting with one of them.
Cam and Cotchery just can't get on the same page. High again.

Cam leads Cotchery but can't one hand it. Offense has seen better practices #PanthersTC

There still is plenty of time for Cam and his group of guys to get on the same page though. Training camp has only been rolling for a week and the team has not stepped on the field for a preseason game yet. We will have to see how the offense performs in preseason action before tripping out on the receiver group.
Preseason is right around the corner and people will be watching the offense and how it rolls. Cam Newton still should be able to create magic, but it would be nice to have better threats at wide receiver. Getting Benjamin back on the field will help that out a bunch.
