Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch has been holding out during training camp in order to get a new deal. He has been fined by the team for missing out practices and that has been enough to get him back to the field. He will be showing up to training camp today to end his holdout.

The Seahawks were not going to play his game. They did not give him a new deal. The team has plenty of options on the roster to turn to if he were to hold out for an extended period of time. so Lynch did not have much leverage in his contract ploy.

It does sound like the team will give him some financial concessions though, but will not get him a long term deal:

I don’t exactly know what concessions means, but he could get some roster bonuses if he meets certain benchmarks. The team will be happy to have their starting running back on the field working with the rest of the group.
