Bovada put out their latest odds for the season on which head coach will be the first one fired this year. At the top of the list is Dallas Cowboys Head Coach Jason Garrett. Let the hot seat burn a little hotter on the head coach.
The Cowboys have been hanging around the middle of the pack with their team. They have been on the cusp of the playoffs and out of the playoffs for the last few years. Garrett’s name has been mentioned on the hot seat for years, but he is still running the squad.
The Cowboys defense needs a lot of work. If they are unable to get that part of the team settled in, it could be a long season for the Cowboys and for Garrett. Tony Romo is still working his way back to health also. If he is unable to get rolling at the start of the year, then they will have to rely on Brandon Weeden for wins. Could get ugly.
Here is a list of other coaches on the hot seat:
Who will be the 1st coach fired?
Jason Garrett 2/1
Dennis Allen 4/1
Joe Philbin 7/1
Doug Marrone 8/1
Rex Ryan 10/1
Gus Bradley 12/1
Mike Smith 12/1
Marvin Lewis 20/1
Ron Rivera 20/1
Tom Coughlin 25/1
Jeff Fisher 25/1
Marc Trestman 33/1
Mike Tomlin 33/1
