Kansas City Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe came nito camp in one of the best shapes of his life. That has been the talk out in Kansas City and he is hoping to have a strong performance this season to match the work he had done in the offseason.
That start of the year will have to wait for Week 2 though. Bowe will serve a one-game suspension for the possession of marijuana last year.

With Bowe on the sideline for the first week of the season, the Chiefs will have to find another receiving option while he is out. Their top option would be Donnie Avery in the first week. It sounds like Jamaal Charles will get a lot of work in that first week of the season.
Bowe will make his return in week 2. The Chiefs will need to find other players on the roster that can produce anyway. Week 1, someone better step up and stand out.
