Time for preseason action to get a little more lively. In week 3 of the preseason, the teams will let loose a little more and prep for the regular season. This is the final tune-up before things get real.
Tom Brady and the Patriots are expected to be in playoff contention again this year. This will be one more step of preparation before they kick things off. The Patriots have gone through this path many times and they all will get the reps in and be prepared for the road to the playoffs.
Cam Newton and the Panthers will be getting their power running game prepped and he will also be looking to get in rhythm with his receivers.
The results of the game are not important, the reps are needed.
