Antonio Brown leaves game
Pittsburgh Steelers star wide receiver Antonio Brown is one of the best in the game at the position, and he showed it last week by ripping up Cleveland Browns elite corner Joe Haden by hauling in five passes for 116 yards and a touchdown on just six targets in an incredibly impressive outing. Brown was easily one of the best and most efficient receivers in the game, and he’s only getting better with experience and better weapons around him. Markus Wheaton is a fully legit deep threat across from Brown, as the Oregon State product had also had a big game against Cleveland.

Still Curtain
According to the Baltimore Sun’s Aaron Wilson, Brown was forced to leave the game and head to the locker room after absorbing a hit from Baltimore Ravens veteran safety Darian Stewart in tonight’s clash between bitter AFC North rivals. To add insult to injury, promising young wideout Justin Brown fumbled after being hit by Ravens star linebacker Daryl Smith.
We can only hope that Brown is OK, and his injury means that Wheaton becomes the No. 1 wide receiver with, perhaps, young corner Jimmy Smith shadowing him. We’ll see if Brown can get back into the game, because losing him for any amount of time would be huge. The Steelers have other weapons on offense, but losing an elite receiver is usually a crushing blow.
Update: Brown is being evaluated for a concussion, and his return is questionable at this moment in time.
