Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton didn’t want to talk about his contract or him sitting out the first game of the year in his press conference, but he was more than willing to talk about his opponent Ndamukong Suh in the conference.

And he was all about calling him “Donkey Kong Suh” during the press conference.
Here is what Newton said:
"“My main focus right now is focusing on the Detroit Lions,” Newton said when asked about missing the Panthers’ opener with a rib injury. “I think I got my hands full trying to find ways to stay protected by Donkey Kong Suh and my fellow Auburn teammate, Nick Fairley.” – Lansing State Journal"
It looks like the fans in Detroit have embraced the name and created a photo on their reddit page with Suh with a Donkey Kong head. Check out the photo they posted here:
