A big development is happening with the NFL sponsors. Anheuser-Busch has issued a statement about their concern with the handling of the recent domestic violence case and now Nike is pulling all their Adrian Peterson merchandise off of the shelves (Yahoo).

More from Minnesota Vikings

Peterson has been activated to the roster earlier this week and could be available to play on Sunday. I don’t know how the sponsors would feel about him getting back onto the field.

The sponsors are starting to make their concerns known about the issues that have come up in the recent week around the NFL.

We will see if there are any disciplinary actions come forth on Peterson. There is a possibility of something coming through, but there are sponsors and fans that are not very happy with the star back.

Nike has taken the jerseys of the best running back in the game off of their shelves. They are making their stand on what they feel about Peterson. Will the NFL make a stand?
