The Arizona Cardinals deactivated Jonathan Dwyer off of the roster because of the domestic violence deal. With Dwyer off of the roster, the team will rely on another back to take the short yardage and goal line situations.

Andre Ellington could take the role as the short yardage back and goal line back, but the team likely would like to keep his body fresh during the regular season.

Jalen Parmele will take the goal line role with the team. Many people believed that it would be Stepfan Taylor, but the team announced that Parmele will be the back to get the ball in those spots. Parmele will have to step in and step up at the new role that he is given. He has a great opportunity in front of him. If he is unable to take over the role for the team, the Cards could go looking through the waiver wire to find someone that can take over that job.

The big question, should the team look to find that person now? Should the team bring in another back from the waiver wire to take over that role?
