A.J. Green, Dez Bryant Injury Updates: WRs active

The Cincinnati Bengals will, as expected, be without star outside linebacker Vontaze Burfict for today’s game against the Tennessee Titans after the top-notch defensive playmaker suffered another concussion after being cleared just in time from one to play in last week’s impressive win over the Atlanta Falcons. While Burfict was never expected to play, Bengals star wide receiver A.J. Green was always expected to play this week after returning to practice on Thursday from a nagging toe injury.

Green is officially active for today’s game against the Titans, and Tennessee’s No. 1 cornerback Jason McCourty is also active after being listed questionable. Of course, Green was only listed as probable on the injury report, and he always expected to play with the toe injury well behind him. He’s a must-start in fantasy football, but I don’t think he’ll explode on the stat sheet today.

Dallas Cowboys star wideout Dez Bryant is another wide receiver who was always expected to play today, although the Cowboys did try and make him look like a game-time decision. Bryant is officially active for today’s game against the St. Louis Rams, and I think he should have a monstrous day on the stat sheet against a Rams secondary that has plenty of issues.

Bryant was listed as questionable with a shoulder injury, but he returned to practice on Thursday and hasn’t had any issues since. With 14 catches for 158 yards and a TD so far this year, Bryant is almost locked in to produce against St. Louis.
