Houston Texans superstar wide receiver Andre Johnson has always been expected to play in today’s game against the Dallas Cowboys despite suffering an ankle injury, as the injury seems like a minor ailment. Johnson was able to get some practice in this past week, though he was listed questionable on the Texans injury report. He’s always been expected to play, and that expectation is only strengthening as we get closer to the start of the game.

The NFL Network’s Steve Wyche, who was one of the reporters stating that Johnson will play today, tweeted that the Texans legend doesn’t looked “bothered” (he added an “at all” for good measure) by his ankle injury during pre-game warm-ups. It’s safe to say that Johnson could have a huge day against the Dallas Cowboys this afternoon, as Ryan Fitzpatrick feeds him constantly when the Texans do actually go to the aerial attack.
New York Giants linebacker Jon Beason was once expected to make his return today after aggravating a serious toe injury from the offseason, but he will indeed miss another week after reports took a negative turn this morning. While the Giants have officially listed talented rookie receiver Odell Beckham Jr. as active today, Beason is on the inactive list and will not play against the Atlanta Falcons.
