Brandon Marshall, Golden Tate Injury Updates

Chicago Bears star wide receiver Brandon Marshall has caught just 16 passes for 144 yards this season due to a nagging ankle injury that has severely limited him over the past coupe of weeks, though the tough wideout has slogged through it. When he first injured his ankle, he still managed to play a critical role in the team’s Week 2 victory over the hard-nosed San Francisco 49ers, showing off his red zone dominance with three touchdown receptions.

Marshall is finally getting healthy again, as he practiced fully this past week and confirmed that his ankle feels significantly better than it did earlier this year. We’re getting more positive confirmation of his health today, as the NFL Network’s Aditi Kinkhabwala reports that the Bears wideout hasn’t looked limited at all while catching passes from Jay Cutler during workouts.

There’s some more positive news regarding the status of a talented NFC North wide receiver, as ESPN NFL Nation’s Michael Rothstein reports that Detroit Lions wide receiver Golden Tate “looks fine” while jogging during pre-game warm-ups. Tate was a mid-week downgrade to “limited” on Thursday with a recent hamstring injury, but the ailment seems to be incredibly minor. Not only is he doing well today, but he was only listed as probable on the injury report after practicing on Friday; he’s good-to-go against the Buffalo Bills and could have another 100-yard outburst in him.
