Tom Brady Injury: New England Patriots QB only has minor injury
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady showed up on the injury report today with an ankle injury, and that sure as heck brought us a response and gave us a talking point. The Patriots are known for messing with the injury report, so most of us immediately said, “Ah, Bill Belichick is up to his old tricks again,” but Brady, despite his durability, is also 37, so it isn’t inconceivable for him to suffer from an injury.

As expected, this ankle ailment isn’t anything worth worrying about, as the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports that Brady’s injury is only “minor”. He’s officially listed as questionable on the injury report after showing up as a limited participant at practice today, and I wonder if the Buffalo Bills star-studded defensive line will go after his ankle to see if it really is hurt. Nevertheless, the Patriots offensive line will have to replicate last week’s performance, because they’ve done a very shoddy job as a whole this year.
Brady’s quest for a second straight big game will continues on Sunday against the rival Buffalo Bills, and it’s great to hear that his ankle injury is believed to be a minor one. If he can stay upright, then he could have a huge game, especially when it comes to hitting up the talented TE duo of Rob Gronkowski and Tim Wright, who both feasted last week.
