The Jacksonville Jaguars picked up their first win behind the performance of Denard Robinson.

My apologies to all the Jacksonville Jaguars fans, I questioned if they were even able to pull out a win the rest of the season, but they shut me up real quick with their performance against the Cleveland Browns. They did it behind their former quarterback turned running back Denard Robinson.

Robinson was a quarterback in college out of Michigan and was taken by the Jaguars and they knew they were convert him to a different position. He was a dynamic player for the Wolverines, but the Jaguars knew that his future wasn’t going to be at quarterback. Instead they worked him at running back and he has performed.

Robinson didn’t come out as the starting running back at the beginning of the year, but he kept grinding and finally got his opportunity this week against the Cleveland Browns. His work paid off and he was able to score a touchdown to put the game away.

He finished the game with 127 yards on 22 carries in the game. He will get more opportunities to take the lead role for the rest of the season and get to work with this young offense.

Toby Gerhart has been the starter for most of the season, but he may have to take the secondary role with the arrival of Robinson. This team needs to ride the hot hand and keep giving the rock to him. He makes people miss and he runs hard. He will be a solid player for this team to rally around.

The fantasy football world will all be picking up Robinson after this week and they should be happy to have him on their team.
