The Green Bay Packers host the 7-2 Philadelphia Eagles at Lambeau Field in one of Week 11’s most exciting games.  The NFC East leading Eagles are coming off a convincing win over the Carolina Panthers on Monday Night Football, while Green Bay is just a week removed from a blowout win of their own.  This game will be one of the toughest challenges that the Packers will face on their push for the playoffs.

Philadelphia has gotten a shot in the arm from QB Mark Sanchez, who threw for 332 yards and 2 TD’s against Carolina in his first start of the season for the injured Nick Foles.  Sanchez, surprisingly enough, looks to be a natural fit in Chip Kelly’s offense, and is surrounded by a lethal array of weapons.

Handling LeSean McCoy and Darren Sproles will be a tall task for a Packers’ run defense that did not see their first strong performance until last week.  It will be interesting to see if Dom Capers keeps star LB Clay Matthews at the inside position he excelled from against Chicago, notching 11 tackles and a sack.

More from Green Bay Packers

One thing seems certain in this game: there will be points.  Green Bay is a strong bet to rack up 40 points at Lambeau recently, and rank 2nd in the league in plays over 40 yards.

Philadelphia could contrast the Packers’ big-play style with Chip Kelly’s quick-hitting, hurry up offense.  Mark Sanchez will have his opportunities to stretch the field, but shorter routes and passes into the flats could be their ticket to success.  Controlling the football like this could wreak havoc on a Packers team that already struggles to win the time of possession battle.

With the Dallas Cowboys also sitting at 7-3 in the NFC East, a win over Philadelphia could have a huge impact on the Packers Wild Card hopes in the NFC.  Green Bay looked elite last week, but did so against a very weak Bears squad.  Now, it’s time for Aaron Rodgers to play all 4 Quarters again.  Ahead, we take a look at the three areas Green Bay must succeed in if they hope to stop a very strong Eagles football team.
