Jordan Cameron Injury: Browns TE ‘day-to-day’
Cleveland Browns tight end Jordan Cameron hasn’t played since Week 8 after absorbing a nasty hit that led to a concussion, but it looks like he’s about to return to the starting lineup. Josh Gordon is already back in the fold and looked as lively as ever last week against the Atlanta Falcons, though Brian Hoyer will have to avoid forcing the ball to his elite wideout. Gordon deserves major touches, but Hoyer also has Andrew Hawkins, Miles Austin, and, now, Cameron back in the fold.

According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer’s Mary Kay Cabot, Browns head coach Mike Pettine called his star tight end “day-to-day” but stated that he is hoping that Cameron can get several practices in this week. He is currently limited at practice today, so he is on track to face the Buffalo Bills this week and make his anticipated return from the concussion.
Cameron’s concussion has put a cap on what has been a disappointing season to this point, but Gordon’s return as well as better health will surely help him down the stretch. The Browns are gunning for the AFC North crowns, and Cameron is one of the key parts of this team, even if he didn’t develop into the focal point of the offense with Gordon out.
