Buffalo Bills have secured first non-losing season in a decade

Hold the phone. The Buffalo Bills were not supposed to beat the Green Bay Packers over the weekend, but they were able to pull off the crasy upset on Sunday. How did the Bills pull it off ? Obviously their success is not from the offense. The team has some young talent to work with over there, but this team’s reason for success comes from the defense.

The defense is ridiculous. Just look at what they were able to do to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. They held Aaron Rodgers to under 200 yards passing and he threw the ball 42 times. The Bills forced a pair of interceptions on him and shut down the Packers high-flying offense. This Bills defense is doing all this work without Jairus Byrd playing safety for them any longer. Byrd was an All Pro safety that skipped out of town to join the New Orleans Saints in the offseaon. The Bills still have found a way to bring a top defense without him on the field.

The team also lost Kiko Alonso early in the year. Kiko is out and the defense has not skipped a beat. What will it look like when he gets back on the field next season? It will be a ridiculous defense to watch play for years to come.

The Bills now have 8 wins and have secured their first non-losing season in a decade. The Bills are still hanging around in the playoff hunt at this point as well. They will be looking to get a couple of wins at the end of the season and will be hoping that everything turns out good on their end. They could use some help from the other teams to get in, but the Bills will have to take care of business. The Bulls have the Oakland Riaders and the New England Patriots left on the schedule. They should beat the Raiders…. then they will get the Patriots after that.
