This past Sunday the New England Patriots dominated the Indianapolis Colts in every aspect of the game, and the win was a complete team effort. While there were still a few aspects of the game in which the Patriots must improve in order to beat the Seattle Seahawks, the Patriots did look extremely good while embarrassing the Colts. I am going to highlight a few Patriots who played exceptionally well and contributed greatly to the Patriots blowout win.

Once again, the Patriots ran it down the Colts throats and just like last year, Blount was the feature back for the Pats. Blount had 30 rushing attempts for 148 yards and three touchdowns on Sunday, averaging 4.9 yards per carry. Blount punished the Colts defenders, breaking tackles throughout the game, gaining large chunks of yards after initial contact with defenders. Blount is known for being more of a pounder, but he looked extremely nimble on his feet as he featured nasty juke moves in which he broke defenders ankles. He looked a lot more explosive that he has in recent games, and he could be a major factor in the Super Bowl if he continue to play like he did this past Sunday.
