Which players should the Atlanta Falcons target during all seven round of the 2015 NFL Draft?

The Atlanta Falcons are coming off of yet another disappointing season in 2014-15, and finished the year with a 6-10 record. Surprisingly, they had a chance to make the playoffs in the last week of the season, but came up short against the Carolina Panthers and were eliminated.

Dan Quinn was hired this past offseason as the Falcons’ new head coach, and is inheriting a very talented all-around offense. Matt Ryan is Atlanta’s franchise quarterback, and they have one of the NFL’s best wide receivers in Julio Jones. Atlanta could use some help at the running back position, but they are fairly well set on the offensive side of the football.

That being said, the Falcons could use some serious upgrades on the defensive side of the football. Hiring Quinn is a big step in the right direction on that side of the football, as he led the Seahawks’ strong defense over the past few seasons.

It is going to be a very intriguing offseason to keep an eye on what the Falcons do. They are likely going to be active in free agency, but they are also going to need a favorable draft. Atlanta has all of the pieces to get back into playoff contention next year if they play their cards right, and the draft is a major key for them.
