Off the top of my head, I can’t think of a team that upgraded their offense more than the Miami Dolphins did, because they overhauled a group of pass-catchers that underachieved last year and replaced them with a WR corps that has to be regarded as one of the league’s best. Jarvis Landry is already one of the NFL’s most formidable and reliable slot men, Kenny Stills looks like a budding star, DeVante Parker was the third-best receiver in another loaded draft class at the position, and Greg Jennings is still a solid player.

Both Landry and Stills are good shouts for the “Breakout” part of this list, and another high-impact pass-catcher, Jordan Cameron, is another name you could see in this piece as a “Comeback” candidate after catching just 24 passes last season due to a concussion.

Even though Tom Brady could conceivably see his suspension reduced, the Dolphins still have a real shot at unseating the Patriots this year. Is it likely? No. But it’s certainly possible, and this year’s Dolphins, unlike the hyped 2013 version after another active offseason, has talent on all corners of the roster.

Here’s a look at five players who could help make an AFC East crown possible for the Dolphins by upping their performances this season.
