In what was a surprising move, the Buffalo Bills cut ties with long-time running back Fred Jackson today, as reported by the Buffalo News’s Vic Carucci. Jackson averaged just 3.7 yards per carry last season for the Bills and is no longer an asset on the ground, but he can still help a team out due to his pass-catching ability.
