The national stage of Sunday Night Football on NBC will showcase the reigning NFC East champion Dallas Cowboys hosting the New York Giants in what seems like an annual SNF meeting.

This game has a bit of everything, but it is the Cowboys who are the favorites to win this matchup, as some experts have them as the projected favorite to win the division title yet again, while some feel the Cowboys can reach the playoffs as no less than a Wild Card team with a nine- to 10-win season. The Giants are being projected by many to finish third in the NFC East.

When the Cowboys face the Giants on SNF, it will be the 107th meeting between the two teams, with the Cowboys holding a four-game winning streak against the G-Men and five of the last six meetings. The Giants last won in 2012 by a 29-24 score.

Since that loss, the Cowboys have defeated the Giants by scores of 36-31, 24-21, 31-21, and in their last meeting on Nov. 23, 2014, the Cowboys won by a 31-28 score at MetLife Stadium.
