Carson Wentz dominated in his rookie debut against the Cleveland Browns, leading the Philadelphia Eagles to their first win of the season.

29. 54. Final. 10. 53

The game started fast, with the rookie quarterback Carson Wentz getting the ball first. Wentz looked like a seasoned veteran on his first career NFL drive, going 4-5 (one drop) and a touchdown. His first career touchdown pass was on the money and his receiver Jordan Matthews made a great catch. The Browns had a poor day, but wide receiver Terrelle Pryor did have an unbelievable catch in the second quarter.

The Eagles led the entire game and Browns quarterback Robert Griffin III had a rough day. He completed 12 of his 26 passes for only 190 yards and an interception. The best play of the day came in the third quarter when Wentz threw his second touchdown pass. The pass was on the money and Nelson Agholor beat Joe Haden on the play.

No matter which way you look at this game, it was the Wentz show. The rookie balled out in his NFL debut, completing 22 of his 37 passes (five drops) for 278 yards and two touchdowns.
