For the Thursday Night Football matchup this week, the New York Jets will travel upstate to take on the Buffalo Bills. After both teams look home a loss in Week 1, this will be an important game for either team to keep pace in the AFC East.

The Jets suffered a heartbreaking 23-22 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1. The Jets kept the game close throughout, but A.J. Green and company proved to be too much for them to handle.

New Jets running back Matt Forte looked great in his debut. Forte went for 155 total yards against the Bengals, looking efficient as both a runner and a receiver out of the backfield. Forte will likely continue to be an important part of the Jets’ offense.

Defensively, the Jets biggest issue was keeping Green in-check. Darrelle Revis was in charge of defending Green throughout the afternoon, but he failed in a big way. Green abused Revis throughout the game, going for 180 yards and a touchdown on 12 receptions. If Revis continues to struggle like he did in Week 1, the Jets’ defense could be in some serious trouble.

Buffalo also dropped their Week 1 matchup, falling to the Baltimore Ravens 13-7. While, the Bills defense played well, their offense could never get anything going.

Quarterback Tyrod Taylor looked uncomfortable in the pocket all afternoon, as the Ravens forced him to become a pocket passer. The Bills have the offensive assets to be effective, but they did not put it together last week.
