Ryan Tannehill is back doing incredibly frustrating things, like throwing pick-sixes to relatively unknown players

Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill has looked quite solid in Adam Gase’s first season at the helm of the ship, and he’s made big steps in dispelling the notion that he cannot connect on deep passes.

Even though the Miami Dolphins are currently 0-2, Ryan Tannehill nearly pulled off epic wins over the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks—two Super Bowl favorites. If the defense didn’t let the team down at inopportune times, Tannehill could have boasted a game-winning drive win over Seattle and a huge comeback win over New England.

Tannehill, however, has been having trouble against the Cleveland Browns today, and Cleveland has just taken a 10-7 lead off of a pick-six from the former Texas A&M star.

Here’s a look at the poor decision leading to the big Browns score.

Was he trying to throw it to Kenny Stills over the middle? I don’t know, but Tannehill was hit hard as he threw it and the ball simply had no velocity on it.

Before the game, fans were wondering who the heck Briean Boddy-Calhoun was, as star corner Joe Haden was inactive. Well, Boddy-Calhoun clearly found himself in the right place at the right time. Tannehill decided to let it fly in the face of pressure, and Boddy-Calhoun lapped up the pass with absolutely nobody around him.

Give him all the credit in the world for taking advantage of this opportunity to get his name out there, because Boddy-Calhoun took it all the way to the house for a Browns touchdown.

Right now, Tannehill is 8-for-12 with 66 yards, one touchdown, two interceptions, and just 5.5 yards per attempt. Kenny Stills and DeVante Parker have played well, but the Browns have neutralized Jarvis Landry to just one catch for four yards on three targets.

From Internet joke to potential rookie hero. Good stuff, Mr. Boddy-Calhoun.
