Kendall Wright made one of the best diving catches you’ll ever see and then topped it off by getting off the ground and scoring a touchdown.

Marcus Mariota finally showed signs of life last week when he and the Tennessee Titans ran amuck over the Miami Dolphins. In Week 6, they had yet another chance to go wild as they welcomed the Cleveland Browns to town. With such a great matchup (particularly with Joe Haden out) Titans wideout Kendall Wright was ready to get in on the action.

With the Titans already leading 7-6 and humming on offense, Mariota decided to take a shot down the field to Wright. Partially due to the moves of the receiver and partially due to horrendous play from the Cleveland secondary, Wright had nothing but room. The second-year quarterback almost put too much air under the throw. However, Wright was able to make magic happen and lay out for a superb diving catch.

If the catch wasn’t enough, though, Wright had enough time and presence of mind to get up off the turf and stumble into the end zone for six points:

Everything about Wright on that play is absolutely fantastic. His ability to get that open, the unreal diving catch, and then the ability to get up and finish the play is all top-notch.

Granted, it’s come against two bad defenses, but the Titans offense looks like it’s moving right now in a big way. If they can get into a groove, this young team could start to make some noise out of the AFC South.
