Super Bowl 51 will be aired on FOX for TV subscribers, but can cord-cutters watch Patriots vs. Falcons without cable?

Though there are some football fans who will downplay this season and the Big Game, Super Bowl 51 marks the culmination of an exciting season. How can you not love a year with two historically great offenses meeting in Houston for Super Bowl 51 with the Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots? What’s more, you have two great coaches competing on the biggest stage in a grand chess match.

If you’re even remotely a football fan—or even if you just love social gatherings—you’re going to be watching Super Bowl 51. That’s just the fact of life when it comes to this time of year in the NFL. However, the modern age that we live in has created somewhat of an interesting predicament for many fans in terms of how they can watch.

Cord-cutting has become immensely popular to escape the contractual obligations and the high prices of cable and satellite companies. However, where that does leave many fans is without FOX, who will broadcast Super Bowl 51, readily available to them. So then, that begs the question of how fans without cable can watch the Big Game on Sunday, Feb. 5.

There are a few options available. For one, you could sign up for the online TV service Sling TV, which offers a free trial immediately upon signing up. If you want to stream it through FOX Sports Go, a cable or satellite subscription is required to log in. However, if you know someone with cable, you can log in using their subscription as a work around. Then, there are also other work-arounds online that you can find.
