Here are three offseason storylines to watch as the Dallas Cowboys aim to improve upon a 10-6 campaign that ended with a loss in the Divisional Round

They’re not called America’s Team for no reason. Each and every year, all eyes are on the Dallas Cowboys as they’re the team who generates the most headlines no matter what their record is.

Heading into 2019, the amount of coverage they’re getting is at an all-time high. That’s because they’re fresh off their second NFC East win in the past three seasons and have some big decisions to make with their roster.

They already locked up defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence long-term as he agreed to a five-year contract, but that was just the first domino when it comes to their need to extend their star players.

With him taken care of, they can now turn their attention to quarterback Dak Prescott, running back Ezekiel Elliott, wide receiver Amari Cooper, or cornerback Byron Jones. Of course, they can’t go too crazy with their deals as linebacker Jaylon Smith is also going to be needing a new deal soon as well.

Having so many good players needing new deals can be a good problem to have because it means there’s a strong roster in place. However, it can be a double-edged sword because not everyone will get paid by Dallas.

Those decisions will be discussed all season long, but with OTAs and training camp just around the corner, it’s time to turn our focus to questions on the field. With that being said, here are the three biggest storylines to follow this season with the Dallas Cowboys.
