Ken Anderson Confirms He is Working With Terrelle Pryor
By Josh Sanchez
While Terrelle Pryor is continuing to prepare himself for the NFL supplemental draft, he is doing so with a former NFL player high profile former quarterbacks coach, Ken Anderson. Pryor has been working out with Anderson — who has been mentoring high school and college quarterbacks — in Florida and has planned two more weeks of workouts.
“I think he’s an interesting kid. His throwing motion and arm is good and he can make all the throws,” Anderson said. “We’re working on a lot of different things right now like NFL concepts, the passing tree and footwork. He does a nice job understanding things and how it translates.”
During Anderson’s coaching career, he was an offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the Cincinnati Bengals. He then worked with the Jacksonville Jaguars and eventually won a Super Bowl with Pittsburgh Steelers as a quarterbacks coach.
Anderson and Pryor become connected when Pryor’s agent Drew Rosenhaus reached out to the quarterback mentor about working with his client.
The move to associate himself with Anderson is the latest of smart moves by Pryor and his camp. This comes just days after it was reported that Pryor is in attendance for the NFLPA’s “Business of Football: Rookie Edition” symposium. He is showing a strong dedication to his personal improvement and it could end up getting a team to take a risk on him earlier than expected in the supplemental draft.
