Future Hall of Famer and current free agent wide receiver Terrell Owens has been recovering from surgery on his ACL this offseason. He has not yet found a new home in large part due to concern over his surgically repaired knee.
To prove he is nearing 100%, the man more commonly known as T.O. took to Twitter to post a video showcasing his new and improved footwork. While T.O. shows his foot speed in the video, he still has a way to go before he is ready for some game action.
If T.O. is ready for the season opener, there should be a market for his services. One team in particular, the Carolina Panthers, lost starting wide out David Gettis and could benefit from adding Owens. As an added bonus, rookie QB Cam Newton could learn from one of the best about being an icon and entertainer. The question with Carolina would be whether or not T.O. is willing to play for a team that likely won’t accomplish anything in 2011.
Another team that could be interested in a new season of The T.O. Show? The Arizona Cardinals. The team could use another big time receiver opposite Larry Fitzgerald. Where will T.O. end up? We will have to wait and see. Until then, check out the video he wanted us all to see after the jump.
